The final National Youth Roundtable was held on 17 March 2008.
At the conclusion of the Roundtable, Minister for Youth, the Hon Kate Ellis MP, confirmed the creation of the new Australian Youth Forum and announced commencement of consultations on its model.
It is intended that the Australian Youth Forum will be broader in scope to the Roundtable, with more opportunities for both young people and the youth sector to directly engage with the Australian Government.
The consultations will involve young people and the youth sector from across Australia. Your ideas and suggestions coming from this consultation will shape the structure and details of the Forum.
Have your say on how you want to communicate with the Government and the model of the Forum that would well serve the needs of young people and the youth sector.
